This week, especially, was an important one to remember all that we have to be thankful for!
Today and this week, I am thankful for:
49. My annual shopping and lunch date with my dad to buy my mom's birthday and Christmas gifts
50. Homilies at Mass that have a wonderful message, but still make me laugh
51. A successful Junior Class Retreat for Jake and his Catholic High classmates as they prepare for Confirmation
52. Chatting with my grandparents on the phone
53. Homemade chili on a rainy day
54. Getting to spend an evening with Mom and Dad without my brothers
55. My window not leaking anymore...knock on wood!
56. Sharing recipies
57. Spending one last Thanksgiving in Nana's house before she moves into Assisted Living
58. Knowing that Nana will be so much closer though, so we can help her more than we could before
59. Our wonderful Armed Forces, away from their families this holiday, keeping us safe and providing our freedom
60. Having a couple of hours alone with my brothers, because it's usually hard for us all to be together
61. One last trip out to the farm
62. Remembering lots of happy childhood memories
63. The wagging tail and doggie "smile" of our collie when we got home
64. Warm socks for cold feet
65. Sleeping in my own comfy bed
66. The amazing support of my family throughout my husband's deployment
67. Leftovers
68. The beginning of Advent
69. Playing family games
70. Good manners
71. Thanking people who are deserving
72. A new billing cycle for my cell phone since I went over my minutes this month
