I just realized something. November 16, 1923 is the anniversary of Mamaw and Papaw's first date (my mom's parents). November 20, 2005 is the anniversary of my first date with Patrick.
April 12th is our anniversary. April 16th is Mamaw and Papaw's.
So Mamaw and Papaw started dating four days before us and got married four days after us!!! That has to be a good sign for Patrick and me!!
Papaw, I'm so glad you asked Mamaw to go steady 66 years ago! I know you were an awesome Homecoming King and Queen together!!!
We got married four days before my grandparents' 60th Anniversary, so I surprised Mamaw with yellow roses, the same flowers Papaw gave her on their first date!
