In celebration of Veteran's Day, Colonial Williamsburg honored service members by allowing active duty, retired, and reserve military (and their families) free admission. Mom and I went, as we'd only ever been to the free attractions. We were able to tour the Governor's Palace (from when Williamsburg was Virginia's capitol) and several other sites. We had a really great day together sight seeing and shopping!! The only downside was our authentic colonial lunch (see my post entitled "Yuk").
